GIN BLACK
OdeV Italian Gin “Black” is a dry gin of vinous origin (obtained from the distillation of partially fermented wine). As already done for vodka, even with gin we pursue the idea of ”MEDITERRANEAN DISTILLATE”. The Mediterranean means sun. The sun means roundness, softness, complexity, explosive perfumes. It is this idea that we pursued trying to get to determine the recipe of the botanicals that characterize “Black” and “White”. Black is a very fragrant, complex and elegant gin, quite soft, but less soft than the “White” variant due to a lower presence of vanilla berries, the absence of figs and a slight smoking of rosemary. In short, a “super gin” capable of making a gin and tonic an experience so pleasant and satisfying that it is an alternative to wine.
Perfume and Taste: Harmoniousness and power worthy of a classy eau de parfum. The base notes are characterized by the softness brought by vanilla and dried muscat grapes. Typically Mediterranean notes of bergamot, cedar and rosemary are inserted on them. Cardamom, karkadé and chamomile contribute to the enveloping and sensual complexity of this unique gin which closes with fascinating yet unexpected notes of light smoking. Gently perceptible alcoholic strength. Remarkable persistence.
