Ingredients
This grappa is obtained from the expert distillation of Cabernet grape pomace originating from the Berico and Euganean Hills (Veneto region).
Distillazione artigianale
Da sempre la Distilleria FRATELLI BRUNELLO utilizza un impianto discontinuo a vapore diretto, tra i pochi ancora in attività, condotto a bassa pressione e bassa temperatura. E’ composto da 4 caldaiette rigorosamente in rame, come vuole la tradizione.
Il ciclo di distillazione è molto lento e prevede la lavorazione di piccoli lotti di vinaccia (cotta) la cui durata è di circa un’ora e mezza.
Maturation
After distillation, the grappa is stored in inert stainless steel tanks for at least 6 months. During this time, the taste is perfected, the grappa loses its sharpness and the olfactory characteristics of the original grape variety are enhanced.
Tasting
The expert distillation of the Cabernet grape pomace yields a grappa that is just as intense and full of flavor. It has a clear and persistent fragrance, with hints of herbs. It is warm to the palate and won’t disappoint the expectations of those who want authentic grappa that is true to its origin.
Serving and pairing
It should be served between 10° and 12° C in a small tulip-shaped glass. It pairs well with medium-aged cheese and tomato jam. Great after a coffee cup made from Arabica beans.
