GRAPPA FRESCA – Aromatic grapes
Classification
Young Semi-Aromatic Grappa
Classification
Young Semi-Aromatic Grappa
Ingredients
This Grappa is obtained from the distillation of a blend of semi-aromatic grape pomaces, notably from the Pinot, Moscato and “Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13” varieties grown in the Veneto region.
Distillazione artigianale
Maturation
After distillation, the grappa is stored in inert stainless steel tanks for at least 12 months. During this time, the grappa slowly loses its most aggressive characteristics – typical of a young grappa – to take on a softer and more pleasant tone.
Tasting
This grappa has a young and exuberant fragrance. It is clean and intense and has hints of fruits and flowers. It is warm and round to the palate. With its inviting fragrance and taste, this grappa is the perfect ending to any lunch, even in summertime.
Serving and pairing
It should be served between 8° and 12° C in a small tulip-shaped glass. It pairs well with semisweet chocolate or savory cow’s milk cheese with plum jam. It enhances the flavor of vanilla ice cream.
